Our Story

It was only a matter of time before our love of beauty and a sensory experience was translated to this gorgeous limited-edition series of four pure silk scarves.
Each scarf reflects one of our stunning new loose-leaf tea designs; and was created collaboratively by our founder Corinne and designer Steph with much love and attention to detail, inspired by Corinne's French background.
As with Madame Flavour tea, each scarf is of the highest quality; made with pure 16 momme silk twill, printed on both sides for the greatest brilliance, and with edges hand-rolled and sewn.
Corinne referred to her own collection to decide on which size would work best, concluding that long is more practical than square, and that a generous amount of the silky fabric was a must. The result is a work of art; 170cm x 53, a scarf that can be worn single or double wrapped around the neck, as a turban or 60's style around the head, even as a bandeau top.
This design 'Call of the Superb Lyrebird' is inspired by the original illustrations of our popular blend Organic Mint Lavender, and features custom illustrations of the Australian Superb Lyrebird, of peppermint leaves, cornflowers and of Madame's beetle broach, in peaceful shades of blue with pops of pink and orange.
Scarves modelled by Corinne, Steph and Arriah.
