Seeing, touching, and smelling real tea leaves, spices, and petals through our tea pyramids is a grounding pleasure. But 15 years ago, I faced a challenge; most pyramid bags were made from nylon.

Determined to find a better option, I discovered a supplier in Osaka, Japan, producing the world’s only 100% plant-based, biodegradable Green-pla certified material. We’ve used it ever since.

Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond tea pyramids; from Rainforest Alliance certified tea to vegetable ink cartons and now, Carbon Inset certification for our Sri Lankan packer.
