Honouring origin; I boarded the Shinkansen to Shizuoka, Japan, sourcing delicate ceremonial-quality matcha, made from shaded green tea leaves, gently steamed and finely milled to vibrant emerald powder. Our matcha growers traditionally shade the tea leaf to enhance amino acid levels and develop vivid emerald colour and natural sweetness.
This matcha lightly coats steamed sencha green tea leaves, from a three-generation family farm, at the base of Mount Fuji. Sencha is the classic tea of Japan, steamed and dried to give a gentle savoury flavour.
A hint of vanilla highlights natural sweetness.
Rich in flavonoid antioxidants, this matcha and sencha together offer a light green infusion of smooth, slightly savoury flavour, with a hint of sweetness. A healthy, hydrating ritual to support focus, clarity and gentle energy.
