It works to source our lemongrass from Sri Lanka – that way we can pack it with the local ginger very quickly after it is dried and harvested to create a beautifully fresh tisane for you. We cut the long grass into beautiful large pieces, to retain the essential oils for flavour, and so that you can enjoy the visual experience. Adding to this is the warm, zestiest ginger from Sri Lanka and a hint of lime (and I’m happy to say that it’s totally organic), with the added touch of my favourite Australian lemon myrtle. As I discover and experiment with more herbal teas, I’m is excited to visit, learn from and spend time with the growers of these powerful ingredients so I can bring you the best flavours, with knowledge of their histories. It’s that personal touch to bring you (and me) closer to the source.
