I love beautiful tea towels. I have been collecting them on my travels for many years. I buy them from country market stalls to fancy French boutiques. I think of them as little pieces of art that adorn the kitchen, sit on my shoulder when cooking, and of course dry pots, pans, and my dad’s special crystal. These designs were created by our designer Steph and I, as a personal project. We started by adapting our new Green Jasmine loose leaf design, of clouds, dragons, and jewels, to suit the shape and impact of a tea towel. We added and subtracted, creating one design which is a little extra, the other quieter, signed with love by me. At the same time, I sourced the fabric, choosing a high-quality cotton, from our silk scarf supplier, one that will look beautiful and dry dishes. So, enjoy your little work of art, or offer one to a friend; these are a simple way to have a moment of happiness each morning. Corinne X
